Dining in Rome:
There are so many very good places to eat in the city of Rome, that for Italian food lovers, it is hard to get a bad meal in this city. While this list of restaurants is far from comprehensive, Fathers Paul and Greg offer the following list of local places that welcome visitors. We have tried to select places that do not cater to tourists with the infamous "Menu Turistico!" Not only is the price fixed but the choices are very limited and often are not very good. Dining in Rome, including paying for individual courses, does not have to be expensive.
But before we launch into out list, let us give you a little advice about dining in Rome. If you are an old Roman veteran, you can skip this section and go right to our restaurant recommendations!
