The Death of FelicityThe fresco of Saint Felicity is by Paris Noggia (1536-1601). The saint, having witnessed the death of her seven sons, during the persecution of Diocletian, is about to be put death as the Emperor watches. Noggia was a student Raphael, his figures reflect the fine style of his master. They contain a use of light and color not found among some of the other Sistine artists
