PietyAfternoons of Reconciliation

This very special afternoon (or morning if time is available) is an opportunity for larger Pilgrimage Groups to explore the Jubilee theme of Reconcilation and in the process receive the Sacrament of Penance. This two hour program goes to the very heart of the Jubilee which is reconciliation and pardon, on the occassion of the two thousanth anniversary of the birth of Christ. The program which begins with prayer and recollection, culminates in a Communal Penance service with an opportunity for individual confession. This is a special occassion to receive to receive the sacrament of Penance in the ancient Church of Santa Susanna, during your pilgrimage to Rome. Contact us to see if the program can be made available during your visit. People are welcome to remain for the Vigil Mass for Sunday that follows at 6 PM.

Groups can register in advance for this program, and request alternative times and dates. Because this program requires multiple confessors, it has to be scheduled well in advance. Priests attending with groups will be invited to assist in hearing confessions.
