Ages 3-19: Total number of students: approximately 630. Over 60% have English as first language. Teaching staff is 70 and average class size is 15. AOSR is a fully accredited pre-kindergarten through grade 12 non-profit independent day school accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, AOSR is the first international school to be awarded MSA's prestigious International Credential. One-third of the student body is American, 1/3 Italian and 1/3 is made of students from over 50 countries. The curriculum is American, textbooks are included in school fees and busing is available. The campus is located in a residential neighborhood of Rome on 2.5 hectares with two libraries, four computer multi-purpose labs, a full gymnasium, soccer fields, outdoor basketball and tennis courts, and an outdoor Roman amphitheatre. Both the Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs are offered in high school as well as a full range of varsity sports.

While a Catholic school in mission, students represent a variety of religious backgrounds and 60 nationalities. The teaching staff is 89 and average class size is 20. The curriculum is American, college preparatory, and includes the IB program. Fees include textbooks. Fees run 8.500 to 16.400 Euro per year. Bus fees run an additional 1.800 to 3.000 Euro.
