New Residents
Welcome to Rome and to the Parish of Santa Susanna!
We hope that your time in Rome will be a rich and wonderful experience. This section of our website introduces you not only to the life of our parish but to several other things as well. We have a tremendous parish library that you and your family can subscribe to. We have a section on local clubs and organizations. Here as well you will find some important information about private schools here in Rome. Finally, we offer some important tips you will need to navigate around this city. Please enjoy our site and feel free to contact us if you would like to tell us about topics that are missing. We always seek to improve our site and your feedback is most important to us.
The newest edition of As Romans Do 2010-2012 has just been published. This 144 page guide to Rome and Santa Susanna is a real treasure. It is dedicated to the Alumni of Santa Susanna Church and is filled with historical photos from our archives, as well as current photos from the past three years. Not only is it a parish handbook, it is also an excellent guide to visitors, pilgrims and new residents coming to Rome. It makes all kinds of recommendations for what to see and do, and provides opening times and costs for various museums and other places of interest. It also includes 8 pages of Tips on getting around the city while you are here. We would be happy to mail you a copy of this book. Please send Fr. Greg (frgreg@santasusanna.org) your name and address and we will mail you a copy as soon as possible. All we ask is that you consider sending us a donation to help us continue our ministry here at Santa Susanna.
Specific things you should know about Santa Susanna are found in the links below. Here you'll discover something about our family-based religious education program, learn the times of our masses, and finally, be introduced both to our staff, and our parish council.
