Mass Schedule (All Masses are in English)

  • Weekdays: 6 PM
  • Saturdays: 6 PM
  • Sundays: 9:00 and 10:30 AM

Thanksgiving Day Mass

  • at 10:30 AM

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, Friday , December 7 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, December 8 at 10:30 AM

Advent Communal Reconcilation Services:

  • Christmas Eve: December 24 (Monday)
  • 4:30 PM (Children's Pageant Mass)
  • 7:05 PM: Vigil Mass with Choir, Singers and Cantors, Singing begins at 6:40 PM.
  • Christmas Day: 10:30 AM (December 25)
  • Feast of the Holy Family (no 6 PM Mass on December 25!) Sunday 9 AM and 10:30 AM
  • New Years Eve: 6 PM (Monday, December 31, 2007)
  • New Years: 10:30 AM (Tuesday, January 1, 2008)
  • Epiphany Sunday (USA and Italy) Saturday evening vigil at 6 PM,
  • Sunday (January 6) at 9 AM and 10:30 AM.

Holy Week Services (2008):

  • Holy Week at Santa Susanna:

    Masses for Palm Sunday: Saturday, March 15 at 6 PM (Family Mass),

    Sunday, March 16 at 9 and 10:30 AM, and at 11 AM in the Marymount Chapel

    The Mass of the Lord’s Supper is at 6:00 PM, Holy Thursday, March 20

    The Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion is at 6:00 PM, Good Friday, March 21

    The Easter Vigil Mass is at 8:00 PM, Holy Saturday, March 22

    The Easter Sunday Masses are 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, at Santa Susanna only.

    The Easter Monday Mass at 10:30 AM.

    Time Change Confusion: Spring Forward: Please note that IN ITALY the time changes on Sunday, March 30th. For our American visitors this may be confusing as your clocks are moving forward on March 9th.

How to Get to Santa Susanna

We are located in the Largo Santa Susanna across from the Grand Hotel and one block north of the Piazza della Repubblica ( a major bus and subway stop).

  • Metro Stop: Repubblica
  • Cab: Chiesa Santa Susanna, Largo Santa Susanna
  • Buses: 16, 37, 60, 61, 62, 64, 65, 115, 136, 170, 175, 492 and 910.
    Buses 60, 61, 62, 175 and 492 stop in Largo S. Susanna; 16, 37, 136 and 910 stop on Via XX Settembre; 57, 64, 65, 115 and 170 stop on Via Nazionale in front of the Hotel Quirinale.
  • Parking: There is weekend parking available in Largo S. Susanna and Piazza S. Bernardo.
