Mass Times and Directions (All Masses are in English)

Regular Mass Schedule

  • Weekdays: 6 PM
  • Saturdays: 6 PM
  • Sundays: 9:00 and 10:30 AM

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available 15 minutes before Mass (6 PM), Monday through Friday, 30 minutes before the 6 PM Vigil Mass on Saturday. Please ask Daniel the sacristan to refer you to the priest on staff. Also, if those times are inconvenient, call the Rectory at (+39)06.488.2748 or Father Greg at 347.367.9025. We don't have space for offices at the Church and Fr. Greg and Fr. Tom's offices are located two blocks away. However, they can meet anyone at the Church at a designated time. There will also be Communal Reconciliation Services, to be announced, as well as scheduled Confessions during Advent and Lent.


Lenten Reconciliation Services: Communal Reconciliation Services (during which individual confession and absolution occur) will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9th at 5 PM, and during Holy Week, at 12 Noon on Monday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 20. Reconciliation is also available by appointment, and before Mass Monday through Saturday.

Holy Week Services (2011):

  • Masses for Palm Sunday: Saturday, April 16 at 6 PM (Family Mass),
  • Sunday, April 17 at 9 and 10:30 AM, and at 11 AM in the Marymount Chapel
  • The Mass of the Lord’s Supper is at 6:00 PM, Holy Thursday, April 21
  • The Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion is at 6:00 PM, Good Friday, April 22
  • The Easter Vigil Mass is at 8:00 PM, Holy Saturday, April 23
  • The Easter Sunday Masses are 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, at Santa Susanna only.
  • The Easter Monday Mass at 10:30 AM.

Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul (June 29, 2011):

  • at 10:30 AM (Vigil on June 28, at 6 PM)

Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15, 2011):

  • at 10:30 AM

Thanksgiving Day Mass (November 24, 2011)

  • at 10:30 AM

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary

  • Wednesday, December 7, at 6:00 PM and Thursday, December 8, at 10:30 AM

Advent Communal Reconcilation Services:

  • Saturday, December 17: 5:00 PM

Christmas Masses 2011:

  • Christmas Eve: December 24 (Saturday)
  • 4:30 PM (Children's Pageant Mass)
  • 7:05 PM: Vigil Mass with Choir, Singers and Cantors, Singing begins at 6:40 PM.
  • Christmas Day: 9 AM and 10:30 AM (December 25) (Sunday)
  • Feast of the Holy Family, Friday, December 30 at 6:00 PM
  • New Years Eve: 6 PM (Saturday, December 31, 2011)
  • New Years:  9:00 AM and 10:30 AM (Sunday, January 1, 2012)
  • Epiphany Sunday (USA, Jan. 8): Sunday (January 8 at 9 AM and 10:30 AM.
  • Friday, January 6, Epiphany is celebrated in Italy.  Mass at 10:30 AM

How to Get to Santa Susanna

We are located in the Largo Santa Susanna across from the Grand Hotel and one block north of the Piazza della Repubblica ( a major bus and subway stop).

  • Metro Stop: Repubblica
  • Cab: Chiesa Santa Susanna, Largo Santa Susanna
  • Buses: 16, 37, 60, 61, 62, 64, 65, 115, 136, 170, 175, 492 and 910.
    Buses 60, 61, 62, 175 and 492 stop in Largo S. Susanna; 16, 37, 136 and 910 stop on Via XX Settembre; 57, 64, 65, 115 and 170 stop on Via Nazionale in front of the Hotel Quirinale.
  • Parking: There is weekend parking available in Largo S. Susanna and Piazza S. Bernardo.
